Thank you Janelle for making a difference!! As this young lady, Janelle embarks on a new journey to college. She decided she wanted a new look. She also wanted to make a difference by donating her hair. We decided upon 14" and sent it to Wigs for Kids.

The various causes of hair loss in children don't result in just physical suffering. The change in their appearance can drastically undermine their self-image and sabotage their self-esteem. To help heal the pain of these struggles, Certified Cosmetic Therapist Jeffrey Paul founded Wigs for Kids, a nonprofit charitable organization that has been serving children suffering from hair loss since 1981.

Wigs for Kids depends on monetary and hair donations from generous individuals. The process for creating wigs made from real hair is costly and time consuming. Wigs for Kids never charges the families that are receiving these custom Hair Replacement Systems.

It takes 20-30 ponytails and $1800 to make one replacement wig for a child. 

If you or someone you know that would like to help make a difference by donating your hair or if you don't have enough hair to donate, a monetary donation is greatly appreciated.
